Berfu Yalcin is a graduate of Florya Tevfik Ercan Anatolian High School. She graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2015. She completed her LL.M. at Istanbul University Public Law Department with the thesis on “Network Neutrality Concept in the Scope of the ECHR” in 2019. She obtained her second LL.M. with the specializations on European Economic Law and Human Rights Law from Europa-Institut (Germany) with the thesis on “Sexual Orientation Change Efforts and Their Compatibility with International and European Human Rights Protection: A Comparative Law Approach” in 2020. She is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association. She speaks fluent English and German at the intermediate level.
